I have not posted in a while, we have been busy here at home with projects, mostly painting and getting ready for the Holidays! We do however take some time out for Bella, The mini, Aspen's new best friend! She is so gentle and loves her treats!

Swarorski Crystals????????

I saw this done on a TV show, and wanted to try it, searched around and found out that it is Swarorski crystals, and a hefty price comes with it!  Some salons wanted $50 plus and that was an introduction price. My pedi, completed while being entertained from a 4 year old cost me less that $4.00! I prefer the left foot design over the right, but trial and error! now just to learn how to take off all the crystals on the right toe to redo!

A year of First!

I can't believe how fast this year has gone by already. It feels like Aspen just turned 4 in April. She is growing up faster than I would like her to. In June she learned to swim for the first time, and it did not take more than a few days she was swimming across the pool under water. This past week we took training wheels off, started with one off for an evening and that did not go so well, she was the leaning tower as she rode down the street. The next night the other training wheel came off, She got the hang of it immediately but had a hard time getting started. Last night we went outside, she jumped right on her bike and rode down the street, making large circles one right after another! I love to watch as she complete her "First"  but know that the first means she is growing up way to fast!

A Fun Day!

Our close friends asked Aspen and I to go to a Amusement park with them. I felt bad not having my hubby 

go with us (He stayed  home and worked).  Our friends are as close as family and Love spending time with them!

A Quick fix.....

With all the use our kitchen table gets, the top of the table was starting to look a little rough. I just don't have the time right now to sand and re-finish it, or the time to go out and buy a new one, just for the new one to get rough from a four year old! So I made a table cloth. I could not find one I liked so I went to Jo Ann fabrics and found a black and tan pattern. My time: one Hour!!!!!

A puppy for a week

One of my dear friends have asked us to watch her dog for a week, Of course we said Yes! We thought that it would  bring a little excitement for Aspen. So here she is...Zoey! Aspen just loves her name! She calls her Zo-Zo!
